News;
City of Virginia Beach has migrated all
Type I Fire/EMS subfleets to Type II Talkgroups as of 7 October 2003.
- It appears that the Block 6 size code has changed to Uniden S0
- Their appear's to still be some Type I activity on the system so the
system is not a total Type II as of yet.
City of Virginia Beach migrated all Type I Police Subfleets to
Type II Talkgroups as of 4 June 2003.
- All Police Talkgroups are now Type II
- All Type I Subfleets have been deactivated
- It appears that the Block 5
size code has changed to Uniden S0 (TypeII).
We are looking to purchase older Type II Uniden Scanners
(BC-235XLT - BC-245XLT) to add
additional streams to the audio feeds. If you have one available for a
reasonable price please contact us.
